This meditation was inspired by an interview I recently heard with musician Jacob Collier. He was reflecting on the early days of YouTube, when many creators were motivated less by what they could gain and more by what they could contribute. The conversation explored the difference between creating from a spirit of generosity versus creating for likes, followers, or validation.
Beneath that conversation is a deeper spiritual invitation: How does our life change when we move from a posture of contribution instead of gain? What shifts when we approach our relationships, our work, and even small everyday moments from a space of givingness? A smile shared with a stranger, a kind word, a quiet nudge to check on a friend — all of these are acts of contribution.
This meditation is less about identifying specific actions to take and more about moving into the energy of generosity itself. It’s an invitation to reconnect with the part of you that naturally longs to uplift, encourage, and participate in life with an open heart.
